Anyway i was chatting with zoe and she told me this friend from hall likes a kind of doll called the Little Apple Dolls, it's a HE by the way. his hobby is to collect dolls!!??

haha the thing is the dolls are NOT the sweet barbie kind, it's more like the artistically sadistic kind of doll as xinpei has put it.. it represents dead foetus lah! and they all have different way of dying.

Being in Smoo really sucks. Can't wait for it all to be over. One more bloody final presentation in less than 2 hours and I'm done for presentations for the rest of the term .

as you all know it, my birthday is this sunday! haha YAY! i'm so looking forward to Friday then we can meet up and watch ice age 2!

i think i'm very lucky this few days. i really hate this elective that i'm taking (children adventure tales) we do like 5-6 books for the whole modules and the books are so boring. it's not that i dont like to read. (go check out "coral island") i know they are "classics" but it's so boring and draggy. we really should do harry potter! then i missed the S/U option date (when i exempt myself from some electives). BUT apparently they are having an extension coz a lot of people never receive the email. HAHA one less subject to study!

other very lucky things are : i finally found Lost season 1 (wahaha) and no more physics tutorials!(no more quiz so no need to attend lessons!)

hall night is where we have games and stuff and hall supper too.

we had a number of food stalls like:chocolate fondue, mai ya tang (honey), ice-cream, muah chee!!, japanese curry(like the one from can A), fried noodles, catered food like donuts, fried finger food, cakes, waffles (can 2), noodles rice... it was like the best supper ever man.. other than that we had games too: frisbee, The Dunking Machine!!, those toy catching machines (i got a softtoy free!!).

anyway i man-ed the ice-cream stall with 2 of my og girls. actually i was at the honey booth but it was too boring. selling ice-cream is not easy, very difficult to scoop cold hard ice-cream. HAHA. i think all 10 tubs were finished!

this is like the only successful hall XI event that i've seen so far la. it was fun actually...

to add on, it was free, all residents had complimentary coupons...

Picnic Day

Yay! i woke up the earliest today at 9.30am that's like the earliest time that i woke up except when there's ultimate important lesson/lecture to go. i was so excited that i woke up early though sleeping at 9plus the night before. WAhahaha.

the highlight of the day is the picnic la. i haven't been to a real picnic before. really... we had orange juice and sandwiches and pizzas! haha it's so refreshing to sit down in the middle of all the trees and flowers and birdies! yirong damn funny lah..how come she so naive one. she didn't know what's "reservoir" but maybe she didn't catch what i said la. we really should go fishing when we're like damn free and have nothing to do. it seems so "our kind of thing" haha.

xinpei drove us down to mac ritchie reservoir. and we walked to tree-top trail for like a couple of hours!! haha but there was a sense of satisfaction after that long trek lah. next time we MUST carry a bottle of water!!!!! haha it was so dehydrating...

the ICEFLOWER hydrating mist is really cool. i might get that after i get my allowance. haha GADGETS to fight the hot season in NTU. :)

thurs: softball for xp then we went for prata at the bt timah (lousy service) prata shop.
fri: Final destination 3 with dan, sam, xinpei and me! (the gross part is the tanning salon one arggghhhh!) Then we all went to west coast part and relive our childhood. haha i love the swing thing la!

steph u should really try to make it with us to a prata outing someday when you're free and don't have that much projects and stuff to do. it's really fun and transportation is included. :)

This one really must blog le. You know this prata shop A_-Almeen at bt timah, they have the WORST service and attitude EVER. They are very reluctant to take orders from us and kept pushing the responsibility around. It took 5 mins of pushing just to take a simple order. THEN when we were taking orders, this guy was very impatient when we only changed the quantity of one item. He gave us damn bad attitude. Later on we ordered take-away, we waited for very long so we decided to ask for it. One of them came out with a packet of prata but we ordered two. When i asked whether it's 4 pratas he said yes.. I asked him whether i can check so i opened it and found out it's all plain prata and there's only three la. (I order like 4 pratas with sth inside). They were so late and just take something to give us for takeaway. What lousy service!

we had engineering bash on 17th feb and it was super boring for my first time. which was quite sad coz i don't think i'll go bash-es anymore, waste money waste time. anyway i spotted one guy falling asleep la. to be fair i heard it was better after i left when a lot of people came much later.. but the warm lava choco cake at tcc made up for it all, it was so yummy! the mango freeze thing was nice too, heck haha i like anything with mango..

anyway we went out for dimsum today at kum boat, finally.. it was really good i love it :) then we went smo. i really feel that the grass is always greener on the other side. smo has all the good food la, subway, tcc, soya bean man, kiliney blah blah blah. and ntu food is pathetic.. smo is like changi airport la, the facilities and everything, serious le, maybe a bit more high-tech than changi. haha. i dont mind if class gathering is only the three of us, haha, in a way it's better.

anyway i visited DBS Singapore Reportary Theatre for the first time. it's so scary that we'll be performing this friday which is like one day plus away. stressful u know... but i dunno le..now i find production quite fun, everyone (most la) is very nice and supportive. suddenly i know more friends from the same hall who i'll probably not even talk to even though we stay so near. haha.. but we didn't do anything there for the whole day from 12noon to 11pm which is quite irritating coz we waste a whole day just like that. we were there for technical aspects like lighting and sound. but tomorrow will be quite tiring because of the full runs and rehearsals and stuff.

i went chingay to work as crowd control for canvassing. (haha me..) the job is alright but the i/c is super irritating and he's so rigid. old people have leg cramps from sitting on the floor for 2 hours straight then they stood up for a while and that guy keep asking them to sit. aiyah they're in last row and not blocking anyone what, just let them stand for a while lah. he not compassionate at all. he even pissed dan a bit and i already think dan is very nice. but still i have the closest seat to the parade. haha we were sitting closest to the performers coz we had to be in front of the audience. halfway through 4 guys were brandishing their whips in front of us lah..should have seen our shocked expressions. haha.. it's refreshing to be actually there watching chingay and this is my first time. but i won't go as public lah, must queue early early and squeeze with a lot of people.

oh no..production performance is this fri and sat. and we are going to have rehearsals on wed and thurs so xinpei u probably wont see much of me starting wed. HAHA u dont see me much usually anyway. now i feel really must try to act well maybe watchable, coz everyone pay for the tix and if i act badly people will probably throw eggs at me. i'm quite scared but i'm always pretty proud of myself lah..from cannot act at all to maybe can act a bit it's really a big improvement. i feel so happy when people tell me i improved, at least i don't feel so bad all the time coz i can't act. it really is depressing initially..and i always complain how long the rehearsals are but now everything passes by so quickly. i really hope i can do well.

Had a damnnnnn longgggggggg day in school with only 1 meal so far -- school from 830-1145, meetings from 12 to 330 all the fucken' way, and I still sat down to do my homework until 6, AND THEN I left for work at the clinic. Yeah I'm trying to gain sympathy now hahhaha. Don't know how I survived the whole day on 4.5 hours of sleep. :(

haha we went shopping for liike 3 hours coz i have to rush back. but it was quite fun still.. we had ES TELER chicken rice which is super nice and the far east one is the best so far.

and we went birkenstocks to check out the new designs and the white flowery one is damn nice lah...i'm so going to get it. :) we saw this and that, really must save up and go shopping one day.

anyway fun x 2 means today we had 2 times of fun. if steph comes then it's 3 x fun, more fun!

haha just came back from HOC(hall opening ceremony), the cheer squads were fabulous. i'm so impressed by hall 11 cheersquad. they got the whole team quite late yet the performance is fantastic...i'll see whether i can get the video for u guys.

Hey gals, prince charming came by and gave me a gentle kiss waking me up from my beauty sleep. I had a good eight hours of sleep, feel ready to conquer maths. yesterday i visited new hall 3, it's SUPER NICE. just like condo without swimming pool and tennis courts. people use card to enter the hall somemore. and got nice palm trees and flowers all around. i'm so so jealous...

anyway, today's only lesson was lab and my day ended at 11.30am. YAY! haha..i got movie tickets at $4 for some movie titled proof (i dunno what show is it but i was CHEAP lah).

i LOVE wednesday. and all my clothes are dry..double YAY!

i kind of miss my old tut class but xinpei and dan made up for it. it's just that the guys in our tut class a bit...haha. i even missed (irritating) zhenyang cause the tutor is so boring "the limits of blah blah blah use some technique blah blah blah" anyway this guy from my previous tutorial class might want to join my class. yay! he and zhenyang are in a tut class of only guys..so sad..zhenyang deserve it for complaining last sem.

But then maybe it ain't so bad. My time table is like super slack. I end school like before 1.30 from mon to weds. Only have 2 hours of sch on thurs which starts at 2.30pm since Life Science tut is online. Fri is lecture day which i intend to just watch recorded lectures online from the comfort of my home, under my watermelon comforter and wearing my pink pajamas! For first 3 weeks of school i have no tutorials for Material Science. I don't have to be in school till 10.30 tomorrow cos i have no tutorials for 1st week. No school on wed cos no lab for 1st week. HAHAHAHA Yay...oh and steph... xiaojuan and i have the same timetable and we have no projects to do. But i have less commitments then she does soooo....maybe i'll take up tennis again or something. heh heh...i feel bad....well at least you don't take ages to get to town from school.
